What happens when a Jungle Brother cousin, Afrika Bambaataa’s son and the men from the Freestylers and Solasso get together? ‘I’ll House You’ (Pt II) is what. Masterminded by Aston Harvey and Andrew Galea, under their Sol Brothers guise, the two enlist the hip-house wordology from the descendants of rap greats to show that the next generation can more then earn their stripes coating its edgy deep-house grooves with frequent splashes of pop accessibility. Far more commercial than cool, this nicely picks up from the JB’s ‘Breathe Don’t Stop’ left off last year.
