Mother Recordings is a top label that churns out house hit after house hit. Here on their next such release is from Martin Waslewski, who is a German that initially start making hip hop before moving to house. He has released on Hommage and many other great labels and is in fine form across both of these cuts here.
Opening up the account is Closer, a joyous house affair with lazy chords, real melodies and a romantic heart beat right at the core. It will add joy to any Dj set and is a charming effort to get things underway. Come to Me is then just as rich and enjoyable but is deeper, with real swing in the drums and steamy male vocal mutterings adding human heat up top. With these two tracks you have cuts that will work floors at very different times of the day but will do so in equal style.
