Have to say Amtrac delivers a first rate reworking of NIMMO’s punchy melodies here and with only the one version this firmly hits target. Adding a distinctly soulful quality to the yearning vocal lines comes this emotion drenched music powered by simple, direct chords, pads and bass plus punchy percussion. This will either work for you or not. But for me it brightens up the summer.
