The collaboration between legends Dennis Sheperd & Rank 1 has been circling the rumour mills since Late 2012 so when Sheperd tweeted that they were both back in the studio again earlier this year, it fuelled massive excitement about them finally getting together for the first time. The result of that collaboration was definitely worth waiting for as they’ve put together an absolute corker.
‘Freudenrausch’ crackles with fast paced tech stabs, trance sub undertones and smooth piano cuts before dropping that illustrious main riff that hits like a punch to the temple. Possibly the fattest, fast paced and most exciting slice of tech/electro/trance I’ve heard so far this year.
