Phil Kieran’s techno-rock trio cook up a fearsome racket using DJ crowd-battering tactics and tough grooves with high-energy rock ‘n’ roll attack. Having said that, this trailer for the much-anticipated We Have Control album plants Martin J. Corrigan’s Marines-style vocal chant and nasty riffing over the Burundi drumming from Adam & The Ants ‘Kings Of The Wild Frontier’! This percussive wall is paradise for the remixer and the mysterious Burglar Tom from Belfast makes his debut with a killer cutup of the song’s vital ingredients. Mikrowave’s Kevin Gorman of Gigolos starts clanging before building into a warped groove. Phil’s own mix strips down to floor-destroying minimalism and his dreaded bulgatron techno-shorts spearing the wombat’s ring-piece with deadly accuracy. Very much looking forward to that album.
