Russian DJ/producer Andrei ‘Android’ Abramov – now based in Toronto and a mate of the Liberators – starts his own S.U.F. offshoot in suuitably loud, proud and belting fashion. ‘The Perfect Woman’ is a moody galloper dominated by a deep and winding Slam/Reese-style bass snake. Sinister bloke tones and a nightmare-fx drop add to the dark atmosphere. ‘City life’ is clunky and flicking before the grungy riff barges in through the tradesman’s entrance bent on abusing the filters. Top start.
