The references to footwear must arise from the injections of familiar classics into the two items let loose here. The Left Foot side stamps its mark on the old rectum with an old Frank De Wulf riff with simplicity the key. The Right Foot side is a deeper specimen altogether, which weaves its own kind of magic by cleverly mingling in shades of Giorgio Moroder and Juan Atkins. Ultimately the result is dance floor euphoria, made all the more effective by the subtlety of the execution. Toe-tingling.
