There’s a new album talked about arriving soon, but in the meantime, we get some rather ace remixes of tunes from the “Days To Come” long player. “Between The Lines” has the jazz inflection highlighted by Nostalgia 77 – it’s all down to the shuffle of the drums and the extra emphasis on the sax and flute. Sweet sounds that you just want to play and play and play. The other treat is Mice Parade’s take on “Recurring”, twisting that cello sound to give it a music concrete aesthetic, true shoe-gazing sounds done in a further out jazz style. Highly limited release, by all accounts, and these Ninja Tune types don’t say such things lightly.
