Mathew Dear’s Minus-related project follows the ‘Fed On Youth’ EP and 2007 album with a 12-inch continuing his forays into challenging electronic strangeness bending the techno form into startling new shapes. The title track clangs and lurches over an undergrowth of mangled vocals while ‘Practice’ is a bass-heavy rib-rattler complete with gophers-wanking-in-the-bath effects. There’s another digital cut called ‘Fieldleft’ which continues after the lab’s shut down for the day and the fun begins.
