The spirit of Underground Resistance hangs loud and proud over this latest storming missive from Ireland’s premiere techno label. Four killer cuts starting with Celtek Twinz’ morse code and rumbling assault ‘Even Numbers’, which sets out the stall and makes you realise that not so many are dealing with the proper full-on proper techno these days. It’s quite glorious. The Tomas Firku outing introduces clicky electro elements and funk-shot pulses. There’s two from Chymera, the first being Marco ‘Octogen’ Bernardi’s momentous take on ‘My Love’, another riotous Detroit celebration with chattering riffs, glacial squirtings and lovely Red Planet ambience circling its nether-regions. Their ‘Eldar Lane’ is ethereal, organic and haunting, rounding off further affirmation of this particular community’s spectacular fertility.
