A veritable techno supergroup gets together here as Run Stop Restore’s Marc Houle, Troy Pierce and Magda collide with Click Box’s Marco Silva and Pedro Turra at a five day jam session in Sao Paulo resulting in the expected fireworks. The title track sees Houle twisting sleazy trouser-snakes out of a bass guitar against Pierce’s disturbing psycho-whisper. The rest cook up a warped tech-funk groove, using analgoue synths to create a woozy, seasick effect. ‘Magic Juice’ plants Magda and Marco’s vocals over a post-apocalyptic boogie mutant which once again shows that this beautifully-unhinged little enclave is out on its own.
