London-based producer Darko – part of veteran party-masters Strange Worlds and also an accomplished jazz musician – debuts on Universal Vibes with a lengthy slow-burner blessed with long, beatless intro motivated by clicks and distinctive keyboard riff before a slow-burning Basic Channel-style groove kicks in. It also comes with a shimmering Club Edit before the ultra-cool ‘Sexaphone’ with its deep, Nu Groove-style house-vamping lashed by Ben Hadwen’s mighty horn. Well worth a shot.
