Dr Bootygrabber makes a welcome reappearance on this trailer for the upcoming Nuttin Butt Funk album. Nobody else sound like this; a light tiptoe of a groove-pulse, insidious bass chug, eerie melodies and sinister voices whispering, cajoling and now featuring the Doc’s evil conscience Ernest speaking in distinctly unsettling tones. Shuffling, muttering and disturbing, like George Clinton’s mothership gang on downers, cranking their funk into a minimal heart-beat while Prince takes a hotshot. With fantastic remixes from Steve Bug and The Advent the die is cast for a rump-shaker of an album.
