Matt ‘Dopamine’ Goddard’s been firing out heavyweight electronic missives for some years since his breakbeat origins, popping up on labels like TCR, Touchin’ Bass and Passenger. Now he pops up on Meat Katie and Dylan Rhymes’ Lot49 with an EP of collaborations and solo outings. ‘Spunk’ Is a fragmented, glitchy galloper with guinea-pig masturbation sequence, also remixed by label vet Vandal with wired energy and vicious stabs. ‘Bogun’ sees him team up with James Cocozza for an electro-tinged houser somewhat recalling the Knight Rider theme, embellished by Hoff-style sonic flatulence. Then he gets in the bath with Meat Katie to whip up a deadly, spaced belter called ‘Nectar’, rounding off a cracking label debut.
