Germany’s Oliver Klein revisits and retitles his 2001 monster ‘Rheinkaft’ and comes up trumps with the bonus of some killer remixes. Oliver’s own treatment injects high-tension funk, chattering bats electro pulses and wonky riffage, not to mention some nods to Underworld and ‘Energy Flash’. Brazil’s Gui Boratto dominates his mix with some booming tom toms, or even tympani, for a proggy feel, while Cocoon’s Pig & Dan revel in their trademark bleepy resonance for an atmospheric minimal outing.
