Consolidating the success of “Bleep # 1”, Bryan Black & Mr No (collectively Motor) unleash “Unhuman”, a primal wave of energy built around an aggressively snarling bass that somehow manages to get more aggressive as the track progresses. The vocoder states the title occasionally as heaps of riffs dizzy your head into submission. Arthur Baker reigns it in and gives it’s hair a comb, adding some very nice cowbells and handclaps and trippy synths, creating a punk-funk sensibility (well, almost). Solid power from beginning to end.
