Not to be confused with the promo company of the same name releasing those great Colin Hobbs singles, this White Noise is a new label started by the mighty Dave Clarke to deal with the welter of music coming his way through his weekly radio show of the same name. he hasn’t done this since the legendary Magnetic North in the early 90s and kicks off in fierce fashion with veteran German DJ-producer Frank Kusserow. ‘Assimilate Your Soul’ uses the title as a hook, mutated and tweaked in classic Chicago style over a heavy-duty electronic throb-charge which receives malevolent riff action midway and dropkicks it at the ceiling. Meanwhile, ‘Ghostel’ charts a deeper path over a muted acid pulse, splattered with eerie frequencies and unsettling shadows. A mindblowing start which references both classic acid house and the utmost future strains [just like Dave’s always done].
