Powerful double-header on Gaetano’s own label showcases an unmistakeable sound. Bubbling fiercely and freshly, ‘Blasfema’ is a full-on galloper which thrusts a twisting analogue bass-snake twixt its butocks to crawl onwards and upwards as further elements enter the fray. After the first drop, it’s up, up and away mayhem, heightened by the tricky editing. ‘Vergine’ is subtler – a cool builder full of textures, nudging pulses and haunting riffage.
