GEEZER
ACID JIHAD
ROUTEMASTER

Guy McAffer hitches up his deadly techno bazooka to Lawrie Immersion’s long-running Routemaster label with predictably where’s-me-washboard results. The Geezer is currently intensifying his long-running affair with the 303 to even greater levels of sonic rumpo but this could actually be considered quite subtle in the way he locks it to a fiercely jacking two-beat groove and throws in curls, embellishments and the odd hand shandy. Of course, the drop is expansive to the max. When it pulls its shorts down there’s a big siren poking out. Meanwhile, the flip’s ‘Blow Yourself Off’ strips to  naked analogue circuitry being fondled and drugged-up hippos shooting their load. Now wait until you hear Geezer reunited with D.A.V.E. The Drummer.
