Not for the first time, Hell’s occasional collaborator P. Diddy is going on about length – but here regarding the duration of tunes as he recalls from his times back in the day going to see Junior Vasquez at the Sound Factory, when tracks were allowed to breathe and stretch. To make their point, the pair have unleashed, over 12-inch and digital formats, a track then thrown to the remixers with the brief to take as long as they want [after Diddy’s said his ‘motherfucker’-strewn thing, apart from the bleep-fest ‘Clean’ version]. For instance, the Radio Slave version runs at over 28 minutes, getting darker the deeper it gets but never boring. There’s also tense Paul Woolford, Detroit piano-flavoured Deetron and wigged-out Jay Haze versions, making for over an hour of unadulterated, no-holds-barred whoopee.
