In a label packed with exciting new talent, Dublin duo Jack Byrne and Conor Murphy are positively frightening. They were plucked, nurtured and just gets stronger with each release. ‘Validity Revision’ kicks off big beat electro with Detroit strings before a juddering analogue pulse-riff kicks in and introduces in the kick. The breaks reappear later, with a strident riff in tow which betrays the duo’s grounding in The Funk. The flip’s ‘Resistance’ is anotherpeak-time techno surge bristling with melody and more funk. Incendiary double-header afoot.
