An absolute killer from the offshoot of DJ Preach’s label. Side A’s ‘Found More’ showcases DJ Jamie Fanatic in rampant style as he lets loose dense, raging riffs and sirens over a throbbing undertow and insistent, bell-like patterns. It’s merciless, peak-time chaos which takes no prisoners. Laidback Luke’s remix is far from chilled as he introduces a robust major acid new riff to build an irresistible, shimmering funk momentum, bending the sirens for extra mayhem. Side B features Colombia’s Mario Ochoa who, at 22, has already released over 40 records on different labels. He injects some of his country’s rhythmic nuances, singing ducks and damage-causing cliffhanger drop to introduce a haunting string melody. Preach collaborator Marco G then steps in declaring ‘gimme a funky-ass bassline’ brandishing a suitably-bulging riff in the old turbo-shorts while using the stringline to build new electro-flavoured riffage in another epic drop. A true, frolicking roof-raiser all round.
