How I wailed the other week when the back end of my review of Jamie’s incendiary team-up with Chicago’s Alex Peace got gremlin-style mated with the new Marco Carola outing? Thankfully, the man’s not letting his current roll of granite-tough hard electronic jack-tracks falter as he teams up with Knee Deep artist and producer Paul Langley to further consolidate 50HZ’s rising name as a cutting edge mayhemnest. The three tracks are merciless, bassheavy crunchers designed for warehousestyle carnage – the new face of minimal techno with masturbating rhinos replacing the old rats on the bog. Extra funk quotient and sonic ultra-violence make for a formidable onslaught, with the three extra mini loop-ups confirming that this has been constructed as a weapon of mass destruction for DJs with murder on their mind.
