CSS are very much the token electrock band of the moment and deservedly so, the Brazilian gang’s songs have an exciting je ne sais quoi that is truly irresistible. Already a cult classic (it’s been around on import for ages) ‘Let’s Make Love And Listen To Death From Above’ is coming out again for possible chart action. Not a bad idea, dancefloors everywhere are crying out for clubbier reinterpretations, but unfortunately none of the new remixes on offer here – Simian Mobile Disco, Hot Chip, Calvin Harris – compose with or bring much to the original.
