Edison is Andy Chatterley, who you’re more like to know and very probably have cavorted to as one half of Buick Project, the mighty Droyds and Skylark. Remixer to the stars, Mr Chatterley also plays on Kanye West’s new album. Going it alone here, he’s more concerned with applying a sonic rotivator to the dancefloor by unleashing a juddering electro-bleep instrumental built on a massive riff which is hammered mercilessly. Sometimes it sounds like the CD player is stuck! Nic Fanciulli joins him for a Buick Project version which focuses on the melody, adds ravey elements and simply goes insane. Whoever the hell Hick Nurdman is he conjures a sound not unlike a robot having a buffalo semen enema in his convoluted brainstorm. Three future-drenched variations with floor-destroying madness in common.
