Kiki is one of the stalwarts of Ellen Alien’s label, never failing to impress with the lush, spectral atmospheres he conjures up on deep and minimal gems like predecessor ‘Joko Tai’. Here he takes strident, chomping riffs, bends them around and sticks little plasticine penises on their circuit-boards to insidiously hallucinogenic effect. Zander VT conjures a weird, droning buzz effect like a swarm of killer bees with radioactive tweeters invading a somewhat darker treatment.
