His debut album A Picnic With The Hunters is still an aural stun-gun of truly warped proportions, out on its own and responsible for unleashing this testicle-devouring monster on several recent Soma releases. Now it’s LGO’s turn to get savaged, in the nicest possible way, by three names all with their own take on album highlight ‘Girls Don’t Like Me’. First up is UK tech-vet Mark Broom, first heard in the early Black Dog days on GPR and now one our most revered pure techno purveyors. He strips it down, ups the bass and sets the control for bison bowel-evacuation. Hawtin fave Edit-Select opts for an unsettling minimal skitter before new Soma signing Mr Copy shows that the recent ‘Minerva’ single wasn’t just a one-off with raging metal vocal-invaded shorts-soiler.
