Ferocious double-header from Gus Brown comes as the latest instalment in his label’s ongoing series. High-octane pounding grooves are the order of the day on the mayhem-stoking ‘Take Out’ whose elastic bass and jacking beats underpin mounting euphoria caused by the mercilessly flanged disco loop. Meanwhile, ‘What X’ strips down to bulgatron turbo-shorts with a thunderous rumble topped by little more than a distinctive synth riff. Nothing like some unadulterated pure techno havoc.
