Another Hare-brained missive from one of the most promising techno talents to emerge in 2004. All the [self-produced] releases on his SUF-affiliated label follow a pattern where they kick straight in with unstoppable walls of jacked-up groove lashed with sheets of scary noise and evil riffs. Likewise his eighth excursion’s vicious pair of juggernaut openers, which are underpinned with that Dance Mania jackstomp occasionally rising to the boil. Then the horror-tech gives way to deeper explorations – this time where a hardcore hiphop guy weighs in over the booming pounder below while electro elements creep in. Finally, it all goes out with a deathrattle boogie that leaves the mark of the beast branded glaringly on the rectum and the listener a heap of quivering jelly. Uncompromising and original all round.
