The mighty Tsuba come follow last year’s ‘Tsuba Samurai’ project by  thrusting forth a quartet of production dynamite to further bolster the label’s name as one of the UK’s most reliable sources of prime techno tackle. The first twelve sees Rozzo [aka Peter Dildo!] start with the atmospherically-weird ‘Muramassa’, where the skeletal patter runs into bells, woodblocks and masturbating stick insects. Welt Recordings’ Nima Gorji unleashes the rattling minimal lope of ‘Japanese Sword’ on the flip, complete with fish urinating in a tin can. The second twelve features Two Armadillos [King Roc and Secret Sundaze] with the fantastic swinging jazz flavours of ‘Jazz Falutin’’, all pianos and warm pads in delicious classic house style. David Pher’s ‘Sweet Little Sin’ cooks up a deeply infectious vibe with ‘Sweet Little Sin’ and its hypnotic organ and whispery vocals.
