Miss Kittin
Grace
Nobody’s Bizzness

As the squirrel exposes himself once more then swings through the trees, the bats wait until nightfall before casting dark shadows against the trees. That’s almost what the Sleeparchive mix of the second track to be lifted to single status off Miss Kittin’s fabulous Batbox album. The original was an unsettling goth-pop outing with Kittin on guitar and vocals well upfront but Sleeparchive transforms it into a dark slab of gauzy techno atmosphere spiked with alien melody, tribal tom-tom shots and transforming the vocal into a spectral flock of those afore-mentioned bats. An audaciously-drastic remix which works completely. Also, Martinez ups the tribal feel while working in full chunks of vocal for another winner.
