Like a dancey version of 4AD records, James Holden’s imprint has created its own strong identity – gloomy, slightly gothy even but not clichéd or condescending – a musical blend of techy, trancey minimal with indie/electro overtones. The eighteenth release proposes two druggy yet majestic tracks from Ricardo Tobar, the third offering is a chill out diversion.
