Having got his Alloy Mental group project off the ground, Phil decides to stick his head round the door marked ‘Techno’ and once again show that, when it comes to dancefloor destroyers, he is up there with the fiercest. ‘Reject’ gets off to a panel-beating start before a heavingly sinister riff weighs in carrying a mound of nuclear acid droppings with stalking malevolence. ‘Reason Why’ is actually the killer track, injecting hypnotic hovering sequences and pulling down the goat’s strides to reveal a roof-raising throb-up which can only induce carnage.
