Early 90s hardcore influences seem to be rampant everywhere at the moment. The eighth release on Shark is merciless in the kind of pummellisation well associated with both labels, but the title track sees Lawrie Immersion and Guy McAffer in extreme heads-down cranium-crush mode. After the locomotive groove has established itself, classic rave riffage creeps in before a building drone which builds to the piercing level of a dentist’s drill. Not for the fainthearted. ‘Packing Boxes’ is formidable machine funk abuse with shades of Bandulu, while ‘Great White Fork Lift Driver’ is a dense tribal peaker with grunty undertow. Oh-me-nads central.
