Goats may soil their shorts at the queasy frequency action afoot on the deeply sinister minimal-house title track from Benjamin ‘Semtek’ Roth’s first release on his new Don’t Be Afraid label. Mr G also turns in a fine deep house rendition while clanking up the riffage. ‘Key’ launches into harder techno pastures with eerie textures, while ‘Village’ cooks up an old skool NY electro outing given time and space to breathe and build into a compulsive floor burner. Great start.
