As the tune slinks forward the 303’s gain steam to deadly effect. Alex Smoke is yet another new name that Soma have thrown into our amidst to scatter the pigeons. Going on the twelves he’s already a startling new talent, and this cheesegrating dub attack on Envoy’s ’Move On’ is a great place to start. Warped and wobbly with the trademark trickery, it has an insidious magic that is reportedly doing the damage. Fine idea, this.
