After label boss Tim Paris’s sublime ‘Ame Agaru’ comes something of a jawdropper from the man hitching up with fellow Frenchmen Julian Briffaz and Loic Le Guillou aka Tekel. ‘The Fork’ makes its point with subtle brilliance; pumping, pulsing and growling on an endless space-groove which shatters any electronic boundary in the name of understated electronic euphoria. On the flip, ‘The Trout’ lives up to its name by winding and rippling for ten minutes through a riveting subterranean flow sprinkled with Mayday-style chords and gorgeous melodies. An amazing record.
