This first surfaced almost a year ago to the day on the always on-the-money Airplane label, now Hed Kandi finally make widely available one of the catchiest and funkiest damn records for some time. It’s taken Italian Monica Bragato far too long to come up with a follow-up worthy of her 2002’s pan-European hit ‘Dove (I’ll Be Loving You)’, but with this irresistible number she stands her best chance yet of matching its crossover appeal. Her haunting delivery sits best atop the foundation created by remixer Jerome D’isma-ae who blends synthetic chords with electronic strings to amazing effect; but don’t discount the Househustlerz & Rob Boskamp remix currently being finished up either.
