The Geezer’s on form in more ways than one. For a start the titles – first track’s called ‘Using A Chicken To Measure It’. Then the music. Wah Wah has always celebrated the classic acid techno sound and Guy’s a master. Here, the 303 creeps up before gnashing the old cheeks in jaws of steel. The even-better flip continues the cake theme with ‘Jak The Biscuit’ and raises a suitably old school Chicago-style stomp which he ices with proper acid. Acid techno’s take on the form which kicked it off. A Geezer Pleaser, par excellence.
