THINK TANK
TROUBLEMACHINE
MUSIC MAN

Always a techno label with a difference, Music Man is still cutting it as these two punchy and inventive releases testify (is this the sound of the world going down?). Think Tank is the new exclusive project from two well known/busy European producers. A solid peaktime number, the lyrical ‘Troublemachine’ goes back to e.b.m. thanks to a fierce synthbass that drives the track to the max (133 BPM). ‘Guitarr’ is intense with its bold, funky beats, persistent bells and expressive guitar synth (137) whilst 909 drums and synths  go out-of-control in ‘Electromachines’ (134). Deetron returns to the Belgian imprint after a single on Intec. ‘The last Dance’ is a stormer with schizophrenic synths and minimal tribal drums (134). More laidback ‘What If… (Tomorrow Never Comes)’ reflects the deep Detroit orientation of his forthcoming album (132).
