Chris Fortier uncorks an old school-flavoured treatment, establishing hypnotic pulse momentum and splattering the groove with 808 drum clatters which seem straight out of the Stones’ ‘Undercover Of The Night’. Kabuto & Kojitake it subterranean with two outings: the Dark Ocean and Midnight mixes packing deep textures, dynamic swells and mysterious voices. Signal Deluxe strip down to swinging minimal turbo-shorts with gripping organ while Itzone ups the energy for a relentless techno workout, spookily cutting up vocal bites and causing early hours carnage. Very strong package.
