Four severe items from around the globe. Belgium’s Peak & Radical start with the minimal, metallic loop-up of ‘Fragmental Excursion’, before Tim Berner from the same country goes percussively funky with stomach-heaving bass. On ‘Chorders’ America’s Henry Chow sticks to the funk with another thigh-swatting bassline and added drum manouvres. Finally, it’s crash helmet nightmare time as Russia’s DP6 goes into the psychotic death-rattle of ‘I Hate You’, which builds into a veritable nightmare of noise and wired sonic abuse. Very interesting.
