One can only deplore the fact that Ewan Pearson’s lately switched from the innovative blend of electro he was nurturing not long ago back to the more conventional housey boundaries he’s currently exploring; still his musical sensibility’s as impressive as ever. Here he turns out a racey re-rub of Silver City’s ‘Shiver’ – kinda Planet Funk in deep, proggy mode with haunting choir on top.
