Since their formation in 2021, Northwest UK-based DJ/production duo Atari Safari (aka Keef and Ben Booker) has seen a meteoric rise. Drawing inspiration from Chicago House, Funk, Soul, Acid, and Balearic sounds, their music combines technical mastery with raw creativity. Their music has graced labels such as Under Pressure, Reptile Dysfunction, Hausa Groove, Freakin909, Subtractive Records, Unlearn, Klaphouse, Rollerblaster Records, and more. They’ve worked with vocalists such as Melanie Williams (Sub Sub), It’s Yonah and have crafted remixes for CASSIMM, EDUKE, Wananchi, and Donald Pump, to name a few. As their new single ‘Boom Tat’ with It’s Yonah lands on Muscle Funk complete with a tasty Lenny Fontana remix, DMCWorld goes Trainspoitting with Atari Safari.
