WVLK – Oxygen
This one means a lot because it reminds me of a period when I stopped second-guessing myself creatively. It always takes me back to that mindset.
Zedd – Clarity ft. Foxes
This is one of the tracks that made me fall in love with melodic electronic music. The emotion in Foxes’ vocals and the way everything builds together still gives me the same feeling it did the first time I heard it.
Arcando – Wide Awake (feat. Sam Harper)
Every time I hear this, I’m reminded why I love melodic drum & bass. It has energy, but it never forgets the emotion.
Cash Cash – How To Love ft Sofia Reyes
This is one of those feel-good songs I never get tired of. It reminds me that sometimes the simplest melodies and honest songwriting are all you need to create something that sticks with people.
Said The Sky, ILLENIUM & Chelsea Cutler – Walk Me Home
This is one of those tracks that always hits emotionally, no matter how many times I hear it. The combination of Chelsea Cutler’s vocals and the uplifting production reminds me why I love melodic electronic music in the first place.
Two Lanes & NOHR – Signs (Revision)
This is one of those tracks I always come back to when I want everything to slow down. It feels warm, emotional, and never tries too hard
Martin Garrix & Arcando – Set Me Free (feat. Bonn)
This track feels both nostalgic and fresh at the same time. Bonn’s vocal carries so much emotion, and the melodic production reminds me why music doesn’t have to be complicated to leave a lasting impact.
Kygo – Stargazing (feat. Justin Jesso)
This is one of those songs I always come back to when I want to unwind. Justin Jesso’s vocal and Kygo’s uplifting production create a feeling that’s both hopeful and nostalgic, and it never loses its magic.
Marshmello – Happier (feat. Bastille)
This is one of those songs that proves emotional music can still have massive crossover appeal. Bastille’s vocals carry so much feeling, and even years later it still hits the same every time I hear it.
Brooks – Someday (feat. Isabèl Usher)
This track has such a hopeful feeling to it. The melodies are uplifting, Isabèl Usher’s vocal is beautiful, and it’s one of those songs that reminds me why I connected with melodic dance music in the first place.
WVLK ‘Do You Hear Me’ is out now on Make Your Era.
