Clementaum, also known as LA MAYOR, is one of the most compelling voices in Brazil’s underground electronic scene, drawing international attention through a distinctive stage presence and a clearly defined artistic identity. In 2025, BeatPortal described her as “storming the global club scene with high-speed rhythms and unapologetic flair,” while Mixmag named her among the Top 25 Breakthrough DJs of the Year. Her impact on Brazilian electronic music was further acknowledged in 2024, when she won DJ of the Year at the WME Awards powered by Billboard, following a nomination in the Musical Producer category the previous year.
Clementaum’s sound moves fluidly between funk, techno and Brazilian tribal rhythms, forming a high-energy and distinctive musical language. She connects local culture with international club contexts, positioning her as a distinctive voice within contemporary electronic music. This has led to collaborations with artists including Pabllo Vittar, Nathy Peluso, Rose Gray, Pedro Sampaio and Karol Conká. Her sonic identity is further articulated through the release of her Splice sample pack SOUNDS OF CUZIL, bringing her sound into wider creative circulation.
She has performed at a wide range of festivals, clubs and cultural events across Brazil and Europe, including Primavera Festival, CTM, Draaimolen, Sónar, Unsound and WHOLE Festival. This summer Clementaum heads up the new generation of talent on offer at As One In The Park Festival on Saturday July 18th alongside the UK Exclusive of Pabllo Vittar’s ‘Club Vittar’ Stage Takeover. DMCWorld goes Trainspotting with Clementaum.
DBBD, Clementaum – Gostosa
The “shade” in the lyrics isn’t about one specific person, but rather a collection of people and experiences. It honestly reflects the moment I’m living right now, feeling confident, powerful and truly “gostosa,” while watching the people who underestimated me deal with that. DBBD’s sexy, club-driven production is the perfect match for this energy.
Tyra Doh, Bruxa Cósmica, Clementaum – FLASH CASH (LAZA Remix)
This track is about owning everything I do and everything I achieve. At the same time, it’s a playful response to people who used to say I only talked about “ass” (“cu” in Portuguese). Now I literally travel the world putting cities with “CU” in front of me, turning the joke into reality.
Clementaum, MC Erikah, MC Nino MDK – tomadomeuchá
This song captures our dark, playful and provocative universe. The idea is that once someone “drinks our tea,” they enter our own underworld. The production is heavily inspired by late-2000s/early-2010’s witch house, mixed with Latin club sounds and Funk Bruxaria, a style of São Paulo funk.
Dry, Clementaum – Cunty hunty
This song means a lot to me because we actually started it before “Sequência Cunty” became a success. Looking back, it perfectly reflects both mine and dry’s journey, we’ve always served cunty energy.
Clementaum – VAI DJ + FORTY
This is my tribal house anthem. The title already says it all: “Go DJ + Forty.” The only next step is asking the DJ to turn the volume up even louder.
Adame DJ, MC 7 Belo, MC GW – Conflito (Clementaum Remix)
With this remix I transformed an incredible Brazilian funk track into a true “bate leque” moment. I absolutely love seeing how dance floors react every time it plays.
Slim Soledad, Clementaum – Mapoas Only
Slim and I celebrate femininity on this track. Saying “I felt like a woman” or talking about “feminine power” isn’t meant to be interpreted literally as gender identity—it also represents embracing confidence, sensuality and powerful feminine energy.
Pabllo Vittar, NATHY PELUSO – Fantasia (Clementaum & Filipe Guerra Remix)
With this remix, Filipe Guerra and I brought the strength of Latin electronic music to the track. Dancefloors always respond incredibly well to it, and it’s an honour to work with our queen, Pabllo Vittar, who truly changed our lives. This remix is also special because I performed it alongside Nathy Peluso at Club Grasa in Santiago in 2025.
BZZHOUND, Clementaum – BOTA DURO
We made this track in 2023, but to me it still feels timeless. I love the production, and it represents a perfect collaboration between Brazil and Colombia.
10. LAZA, Clementaum – “Ó”
This is one of the biggest tracks in my DJ sets. LAZA and I built it around an inside joke where we’d constantly say “Ó” to each other in funny situations. Alongside my own vocals, we also sampled Madonna’s voice—something that’s almost impossible to notice, which makes it even more fun.
