Remember ‘Pasilda’? ‘Libre‘? ‘Felicidad‘? Three defining Latin House gems vocalised by Isabel Fructuoso from the past which made their way from genre greats to worldwide hits within the House genre. Since these productions surfaced, it is the aim of some producers to deliver THE Latin House bomb of the season. I have personally tried so again this year (with my track ‚Muevete‘ with Eva C. Moreno on vox) but certainly this new interpretation of Sullee’s ‚No Pares‘ is a serious contender! Will Dawson delivers a beautifully crafted reinterpretation of “No Pares,” transforming the original into a warm and uplifting slice of soulful house that effortlessly blends elegance with dancefloor appeal.
From the opening moments, the remix establishes a rich, groove-driven foundation, built around crisp percussion, deep rolling basslines, and beautifully textured instrumentation. Dawson’s refined production style allows the track to breathe, creating a natural flow that gradually unfolds without ever feeling rushed. Every element is carefully placed, resulting in a mix that feels spacious, musical, and effortlessly engaging. Isabel Fructuoso’s vocal performance is the emotional centrepiece of the record. Her expressive delivery glides seamlessly across the lush arrangement, adding both intimacy and passion while perfectly complementing the infectious rhythm. The Spanish lyrics bring an additional layer of warmth and authenticity, giving the track an unmistakable international flavour.
