Tommaso Garofalo, better known to us as Turbojazz from Milan who has released on labels like Defected, BBE, Local Talk, or Gamm once explained to myself that Turbojazz is something like a musical expression of art, an own project that has to be seen as a different exposure to his DJ sets. Well all I can say is, that his productions are spot on and as a new artist album is around the corner and the Rona Ray vocalised ‘The Joy’, which managed to be a nice respectful homage to Jon Cutler’s ‘It’s Yours’, has already been released, it is worth to take a close look on the second single, ‘Everybody DJ’ which is now on promo. The vocals from Javonntte are special in every aspect as is the message of it. Nowadays everybody can be a DJ technically but of course being a DJ is much more than pressing a knob here and there. Musically this is House Music we want to hear-pounding, a little bit deep with funkiness thrown in between. Makes appetite on the album for sure!
