Tone Of Arc – Goodbye Horses – (No.19 Music)

If you think that this sounds hauntingly familiar then you could be right as it played background to one of Silence Of The Lambs most cutting scenes. Or, you could just remember it as the 1988 Q Lazzarus hit. Either way you can always expect Tone Of Arc to dazzle you with a provocative array of sounds, which in this case stun and delight while Derrick Boyd’s own vocal portrays the brooding feeling of the song perfectly.’ Sound Sail’ follows with more of his voice alongside the deft female touch of Zoe Presnick over deep Rhodes chords and pounding drums to evoke more commanding moods and awe-inspiring music. Deniz Kurtel remixes it with style and flair by treating the song to a pulsating electronic ambience that again defies logic, yet feels precise and in a class all of its own.
