The formula of finding authentic local sounds with contemporary worldwide tempos produces sounds of regal, full-of-secrets mystery, and pleasingly some be-jewelled funky-ass house when Giampiero Ponte, Zohar and Karminsky Experience Inc are around. Karuan and Soap Kills are both deadly on the downbeat, scowling at the opposite end of the club-lite Chhadeh & Roberts and Ilhan Er?ahin’s exotic drum & bass making their Marrakesh mark. Next stop?
